As you know, silver is the primary element used in making x-ray film. Over the last twelve months, the commodity price of silver has increased almost 200%. During this period, we have experienced several price increases in x-ray film costs from our manufacturer, Agfa.
To date, we have refrained from passing these increases on to our customers and kept our prices unchanged. However, Agfa's most recent increase has left us with no alternative but to increase our x-ray film prices effective May 2, 2011. Please be advised that we have made every effort to keep these increases to a minimum.
